When we’re away, and I’m not in my own bathroom, I always think “I should take more baths in our tub.” I’m usually a shower person. Maybe when we get home from vacation I’ll do that for a little relaxation... after relaxing at the beach. 😉
The beach 🏖 is calling my name, so✌🏼out real world. #vacationbrain is in full force right now!!
Be patient. Home takes time.
We leave for the beach in a couple weeks, and I’ve been making lists of all the things that need to be done beforehand. Like finish painting the wicker furniture that I’ve been trying to get done for over a week now. 😬
It seems like my unintentional goal this year is to keep my decor simple. I find myself using decor that can easily transition. For example, I can add a few red flowers or flags to this arrangement and it will be red, white, and blue for the summer or the 4th of July! Or take out the blue and add more green for a neutral summer arrangement. Decor doesn’t have to be complicated!
As we go into Memorial Day weekend, let us remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for this country.
It seems like the last couple months have gone by in the blink of an eye. It just hit me that Memorial Day is a week away. Hello Summer!
